Navarre expands 250 new places in Pre-school Education

7 de August de 2024

The government of Navarra has been
allocated an additional 2.7 million euros to increase the number of public
places in early childhood education. This initiative is part of a broader
effort to make this educational stage cost-free for families.

With this new funding, 250 new slots will
be created, adding to the 1,173 already committed. This expansion is aimed at
the universalization of early education, focusing on providing educational
equality of opportunity, especially for the most vulnerable. The funds come
from the Recovery and Resilience Mechanism, aimed at strengthening education
from the ground up.

This measure not only increases Navarra’s
educational capacity but also ensures that the benefits of quality early
education are more accessible to all segments of the population.
