UPNA plans to offer its first European Bachelor’s Degree in Artificial Intelligence for the 2026-2027 academic year

UPNA is working on implementing its first
European bachelor’s degree in Artificial Intelligence
, aiming to make it
available to students in the 2026-2027 academic year. This initiative is part
of the university’s strategy to adapt to labor market demands and promote
education in cutting-edge technological areas.

This new degree complements UPNA’s academic
offerings in the field of information and communication technologies, which
includes programs like the Bachelor’s in Data Science. The addition of this
degree responds to the growing demand for professionals specialized in
artificial intelligence, both nationally and internationally.

UPNA has demonstrated its commitment to
artificial intelligence through various initiatives, such as the creation of
the Chair of Computing and Artificial Intelligence in collaboration with
Tracasa Instrumental. This chair focuses on areas like machine learning,
natural language processing, and big data, among others.

With the implementation of this new degree,
UPNA aims to position itself as a leading institution in training professionals
in artificial intelligence, contributing to the technological and economic
development of Navarre and offering students quality education in a constantly
evolving field.
