The Autonomous Community of Navarra has been honored with three awards at the international ‘Food 4 Future’ fair, establishing itself as a benchmark in innovation, sustainability, and international projection in the agri-food industry.
At the recent edition of the ‘Food 4 Future’ food technology fair held in Bilbao, Navarra stood out by receiving three of the seven awards presented, demonstrating its commitment to innovation and sustainability in the agri-food sector.
The Navarrese startup Uraphex, incubated at the European Center for Business and Innovation of Navarra (CEIN), was awarded two prizes: Spanish Startup with the Greatest International Projection and Best Sustainability Project.
Meanwhile, the company Cocuus received the award for Most Innovative Startup, recognized for its impact on digitalization, sustainability, and health within the foodtech sector.
Additionally, the company Nucaps was a finalist in the Health category, reaffirming the dynamism and excellence of Navarra’s agri-food ecosystem.
During the event, a roundtable titled “The Technological Development of Navarra’s Agri-Food Industry with a Special Focus on Biotechnology” was held, featuring the participation of Counselor Mikel Irujo and representatives from CEIN, CNTA, and AZTI, discussing the sector’s challenges and opportunities.
These distinctions reflect Navarra’s leadership in transforming the agri-food sector towards more sustainable, innovative, and internationally competitive models.
