31 de July de 2024

The Government of Navarra has authorized a
multi-year expenditure exceeding 900,000 euros, aimed at funding doctoral
programs of interest to the region across all fields of knowledge.

This
new financial package is designed to support the training of future PhD
candidates by offering financial aid for doctoral thesis work. Plans include
granting a total of eight four-year scholarships, with tiered salaries and
additional funds to cover tuition fees and degree issuance costs. A specific
aid for individuals with disabilities is also included, highlighting the
program’s inclusive approach. Additionally, the government has approved the
launch of a new master’s degree in ‘Renewable Energies: Electrical Conversion
and Grid Integration of Wind and Photovoltaic Systems,’ which will be offered
at the Public University of Navarra starting next academic year.

These initiatives not only promote the individual development of students but
also benefit the broader society and the business fabric of Navarra, driving
research and innovation as cornerstones of a fairer and more prosperous future.
