Functions

1. Support in the preparation of documentation a. Preparation, review and negotiation of grants, contracts and collaboration agreements, agreements, clinical trials, data and material transfer agreements, with current and potential national, European and international partners. b. Review of legal texts and their adequacy to regional, national and EU regulations. c. Legal documentary support during the development of research, innovation and aid projects: legal support in contracting files, procedures, actions and initiatives. 2. Support in technology transfer and industrial property management: a. Collaboration in the dissemination of the technological portfolio and support in the commercialization of technologies. b. Participation in technology transfer networks. c. Support in the identification and management of assets susceptible to protection (utility models, patents, trademarks, industrial designs, industrial secrets, know-how). d. Support in the processing of applications for the protection of industrial and intellectual property rights. e. Support in the interlocution with industrial and intellectual property agents, and with national and international industrial property offices. f. Drafting and review of confidentiality agreements, technology transfer, co-ownership, exploitation of research results, assignment of rights, licenses (patents, know-how, etc.), collaboration. 3. Project management support a. Support in the identification of innovation projects. b. Technology watch. c. Legal support to public procurement processes, including public procurement of innovation. d. Encourage the publication of project results. e. In European projects, liaise with European Commission officials in the negotiation, contract implementation and reporting stages. 4. Dissemination and promotion of the culture of innovation a. Generation of dissemination and communication contents. b. Participation in industry events.

Requirements

Valuable requirements: Knowledge of Science, Technology and Innovation Systems at regional, national and European level in the biosanitary field.

Training

Minimum requirement: University degree or higher university engineering (Meces 3) / university degree with master’s degree (Meces 3). Valuable requirement: Bachelor’s/Degree in Law Degree in Science Master’s Degree in Industrial/Intellectual Property and/or specific training in industrial and intellectual property.

Languages

Valuable requirements: English. Demonstrable high level of spoken and written English. Basque / French / other official EU languages.

Experience

Minimum experience: In legal advice/legal support in entities in the technological field; and/or. In promotion and transfer of knowledge and/or management of innovation projects. Valuable experience: In legal advice on innovation matters. In management of research and/or innovation projects (regional, national and European) and/or legal support in such management. In research results transfer offices or in management/administration departments of universities or research centers.
