This year, Puente la Reina, a company that produces organic virgin olive oil and snacks, condiments, and olive by-products, will start selling its products in the south of France. And, in 2023, the company will alsolaunch in the United States and Canada, as Manuel Román, a partner of the company, told Navarra Capital. In addition, it plans to increase the number of hectares of olive groves it has in Tierra Estella almost sevenfold and is spearheading the Up4Health project, with ten European partners and a budget of 4 million. The aim: “to recover grape, olive, and nut waste as natural and healthy by-products”.

Palobiofarma has been selected as one of the 99 most innovative companies in the European Innovation Council Accelerator. As a result, this company based in Navarra, with the support of Sodena, has received approval for the European project that finances phase II of the PBF-680 product in EPOC and granted financial support amounting to EUR 2.5 million. In addition, it has been offered the possibility of partial funding for phase III of this product through a capital investment of an additional EUR 15 million in the form of a capital increase.

Yesterday, Tuesday 23 November, more than 200 people gathered at the Teatro Gaztambide (Tudela) to celebrate the presentation of the VI Premios Alimenta Navarra, an awards ceremony organised by Navarra Capital and promoted together with NAGRIFOOD (Navarra’s Agri-Food Cluster). At the 6th edition of the awards, attendees paid tribute to the winners in the different categories: Juanma Garro (Lacturale), for Outstanding Business Career and Personal Development; Harivenasa, Sustainability; Nucaps, Innovation; Pagos de Araiz, Internationalisation; and Silvia Lázaro (Granja El Moro), Generational Handover in the Rural World.
